A Bucks journey will teach us that shedding our antlers is not the loss of our identity but the development of protection for our future. During the transition we may feel weak and awkward but by the time the Fall season is upon us the changes that were made were only a temporary inconvenience that transforms the Buck into the Legends few see in the wild.
For the Buck is both a sign of masculine energy and grace.
A genital reminder that rebirth can bring about our spiritual antennae that connects us to a higher space that is created through the shedding of the old ways of life that lead us to a fresh start, all while we usually do not comprehend what is taking place during the transition.
When we heal ourselves the changes we desire do not come as fast as we expected and often, we decide that what we are doing is not amounting too much. This is often the transition point to a healthier place. All healing has its peaks, valleys and plateaus that must be navigated to achieve the desired outcome.
If you are struggling through the healing process, remember that the body works much like the cycle process of the Buck’s antlers. Shedding of the old to make way for the stronger transformation that creates the strength we need to navigate our future. Even though things may look and feel awkward at first if we give up, we will never reach our true potential and become a symbol of transformation and change that leads with a balanced grace.
