A New Day

The Sun rises on a new day, yet the emotions of the Full Moon linger like the fog that covers the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Waiting for the fog to clear takes patience in the sun’s rays to clear the way to a brighter day.

When we are standing in the fog, this has a way of making one question all that you believe in and everything you feel in your heart. To blame the fog will only create darkness inside oneself that the sun’s rays will not cut through.

How long the fog stays within you all comes down to the people in your orbit. They will either help you cut through your darkness or aid in keeping you in a fog. A connection can make or break how you recover from the darkness. With a kind word or a passing smile can easily turn a dark moment into your next triumph or another journal entry.

As a person who always looks for the positive in every situation in life, sometimes the weight of the world creates a doubt that could linger like the fog on a cloudy day. Without the right person or people to help you through your dark space, one could be stuck in that loop for days or even months.

Seeing through another’s “happy face” is not always easy and some hide their pain better than others, but when we approach others with Love and Kindness, we find that the truth will come out like the rising sun that cuts through the fog to bring light into a dark space.

If you are reading this and feeling the words —

Your Pain Matters, Your Journey Matters, and the Light you share with others Matters even if the fog keeps you from seeing all the things that the rising Sun has not reached.

By sharing in ONE moment of kindness with another just might help them through their darkest fog.

ONE Love john
