Long before I understood my journey, I looked at others that I thought would be able to explain what was taking place in my life. Although each of our journeys is different, the connective nature of a gift from the universe carries the same signature.
My search for a role model leads me to the story of Edgar Cayce. If you are not familiar with Mr. Cayce’s work, I recommend reading about his accomplishments as the sleeping prophet.
Edgar Cayce’s life was devoted to faith, yet his prophetic gift was accredited to the universe and his access to the Akashic Records.
Our stories and abilities are not connected, but I feel drawn to how his gift came about and his devotion to helping those in need. He defined a Lightworker in my mind and I am grateful to have visited Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research & Enlightenment in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
When I was unsure of the path I wanted to create, I read about how Edgar started his journey and I shared his common goal, to impact people in a positive way.
We all need others to guide us along our journey, choose those who brighten your light.
