Keep the light shining.
A lightkeepers job is often underrated when the seas are calm and the weather is nice, yet that is when the lightkeeper needs to ensure that the light operates properly so that the light does not go dark in times of need.
Each of us is a lightkeeper that can help another person in a time of need, but we will not be able to assist if we are going through our own storm.
Making the best of the good times and finding the joys that brighten our light is an important part of being a lightkeeper.
Anytime you feel selfish about maintaining your light, remember that a lightkeeper will spend those nice weather days cleaning the lens so that when the light is needed the lens will have enough clarity to cut through the storm.
