During my journey through my life, people have given me different “nicknames.”
JB, Master, Ya-YA, Little Wing and Lightworker.
Each nickname has been born out of Love from one group of people or another. I respect each nickname in the own way and carry all the nicknames as a badge of honor from each group.
But ONE nickname touches my heart in a unique way and told to me long before I even knew what its true meaning represented.
Lightworker
It is important to understand that when I first heard the term Lightworker, I was still living in an introverted shell and had little contact with people from the past as well as struggling to make new connections with anyone who would enter my life.
If you have ever gone through an introverted moment in your life, you know that it is not a choice to act introverted. It is a gut wrenching feeling that hinders a person almost paralyzed with fear and anxiety and sets your “Flight” sensory into overdrive.
This brief chapter was a defining moment on my journey and if not for this moment I would not be able to share what this nickname means to my life. One small segment of my life that was difficult to navigate but it was important to my development as a Lightworker.
Without going inside oneself, how are you able to discover who you truly are?
If you are wondering what a Lightworker is and why we are important to society today, this is how its defined on the internet.
Bing search: A Lightworker is a person dedicated to spreading love, healing, and positivity, using their intuition and spiritual awareness to uplift others and raise collective consciousness. Lightworkers often feel a strong calling to help others, guide them toward inner peace, and contribute to the collective well-being of humanity.
Once I found out this information, I had no idea how an introverted person with crippling anxiety was going to become a Lightworker. At the time, I was barely journaling and even if I were able to write something, it would not come out how it sounded in my mind. I also have a perfectionist mentality which makes anything I do seem like its never good enough.
Now that I have gone through the process of deconstructing my ego and tapping into the Oneness of the collective, I have enough confidence to write a message that feels good too my soul and hope that my story inspires people to create what they Love.
Do not let one moment of your life define who you are. You may be going through something that only you know about or struggling with feelings of not fitting in. This is a hard step on the journey of life and your most profound moment in your journey.
One of the most important concepts that help me along my journey; The human body is a sophisticated house plant. Without the right amount of water or sun your plant will not survive. You also need the correct soil and the proper size planter. Once you outgrow the planter or the soil has lost its nutrients this will cause the plant to stop growing.
As humans we face these same challenges; Sun and water are vital to our health and growth. The planter is our home and if we have outgrown a place or the people in our lives, we need to replant ourselves to a new space that cultivates growth. The soil represents Love; if you have used up all nutrients for growth, you will stop growing at the last point you received nourishment.
Do not allow yourself to sit stagnant in life.
Go out and create what you LOVE, even if it is not perfect. Start by Loving yourself first so you can create a better world for everyone around you.
We stand at a wonderful moment in our history as humans. Please do not lose yourself in the hate and fear that our current society offers us.
We are in the same planter (earth) but not all of us have the necessary support for growth. Seek out a Lightworker, we support you and the growth of a Loving society!
ONE Love, John
